DJI AGRAS T50 Agricultural Drone
Ready, Steady, Go.
The DJI AGRAS T50 is an agricultural drone built for spraying, spreading, and aerial surveying. Its coaxial twin-rotor propulsion system and torque-resistant airframe support payloads of up to 40 kg for spraying and 50 kg for spreading, giving farmers one platform for multiple field applications.
The T50 combines DJI’s Dual Atomizing Spraying System, front and rear phased array radars, and binocular vision sensing to support accurate application, terrain awareness, and obstacle detection during agricultural operations.
Terra Excel Drones supplies DJI AGRAS T50 agricultural drone solutions in Alberta and across Canada and can help farmers compare spraying, spreading, mapping, and accessory options for their operation.

Dual Atomizing Spraying System
The AGRAS T50 uses DJI’s Dual Atomizing Spraying System to provide a flow rate of up to 16 L/min with two sprinklers. The system produces fine, uniform droplets and is designed to prevent leakage during spraying operations.
For operations that require higher application volumes, the optional Four-Sprinkler Kit adds another pair of centrifugal sprinklers and increases the maximum flow rate to 24 L/min.
When operating manually with four sprinklers, Reverse Directional Spray allows application in either flight direction, reducing the need to turn the aircraft between passes.
1,500 kg per hour
50 kg Payload
75 L max capacity and an expanded loading gate for quick refills.
Smooth Spreading
The torque of the spreader is doubled and the discharge hatch is enlarged to enable a flow rate up to 108 kg/min[4].
Uniform Spreading
DJI AGRAS T50’s spiral channel spinning disk makes spreading more uniform.
Low Rate Spreading
You can also switch to small hopper gates to improve spreading accuracy with a low flow rate.
Real-Time Weighing
DJI AGRAS T50 is equipped with a weighing sensor which allows you to monitor the remaining payload in real time.
Fast Disassembly and Cleaning
Tested for reliability, durability and safety
Spraying and spreading operations are frequent, intense, and take place in complex environments. DJI AGRAS T50 has passed hundreds of reliability tests and its main body is durable to help ensure safe operation.
Binocular Vision and Dual Radar
The AGRAS T50 combines front and rear Active Phased Array Radars with two sets of binocular vision sensors to support multidirectional obstacle sensing and terrain awareness. The radars feature double the number of RF channels to improve detection precision.
The sensing system helps the aircraft detect terrain and obstacles in greater detail, supporting automatic obstacle bypassing and Terrain Following on steep slopes during supported operations.
Surveying, Spraying, and Spreading in One Platform
The AGRAS T50 combines aerial surveying, spraying, and spreading in one agricultural drone platform.
A high-resolution FPV gimbal camera captures field and orchard imagery in real time. When paired with DJI RC Plus and RTK service, operators can create high-definition maps that support automatic flight-route planning for later spraying and spreading operations.
Orchard Aerial Surveying
For orchard operations, the AGRAS T50 supports obstacle bypassing and Terrain Following while surveying slopes up to 20°.
Using DJI RC Plus and real-time mapping, the system can identify fruit trees and obstacles and use their distribution to generate automatic 3D flight routes for orchard operations.
O3 Transmission
The AGRAS T50 uses a quad-antenna DJI O3 Transmission system and supports offline operation in areas without cellular coverage.
DJI lists a transmission range of up to 2 km, while the system’s anti-interference capability helps maintain connectivity during operations over tall crops and other challenging field environments.
Optional DJI Relay
For operations where terrain, vegetation, or other obstructions interfere with the direct connection between the aircraft and controller, the optional DJI Relay provides another connection point to support real-time video transmission.
Battery Charging Options
The AGRAS T50 supports multiple charging options for field and farm operations.
The D12000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator uses electronic fuel injection technology, with DJI listing fuel savings of up to 15% under specified conditions.
DB1560 Intelligent Flight Batteries can be charged using an Air-Cooled Heat Sink, with DJI listing charging times as fast as 9 minutes under specified conditions.
The C10000 Intelligent Charger provides another option for charging batteries directly from utility power.
DJI AGRAS T50 and Mavic 3M Agriculture Workflow
The AGRAS T50 can be paired with the DJI Mavic 3M to connect multispectral field data with spraying and spreading operations.
Farmers can use the Mavic 3M to survey fields, identify areas of crop stress, and generate prescription maps. Those maps can then support Variable Rate Application with the AGRAS T50, helping apply crop protection products or fertiliser according to field conditions.
DJI AGRAS T50 FAQs
Common questions about the DJI AGRAS T50 agricultural drone, answered by Terra Excel Drones.
Can the DJI AGRAS T50 use prescription maps for Variable Rate Application?
Yes. The AGRAS T50 supports Variable Rate Application using prescription maps to guide spraying and spreading. Farmers can use these maps to adjust crop protection or fertiliser application according to field conditions.
What does the optional Four-Sprinkler Kit add to the DJI AGRAS T50?
The optional Four-Sprinkler Kit increases the maximum spraying flow rate from 16 L/min to 24 L/min. It also supports Reverse Directional Spray during manual flight, allowing operators to spray in either flight direction without turning the aircraft between passes.
How fast can DJI AGRAS T50 batteries be charged?
DJI lists charging times as fast as 9 minutes for DB1560 Intelligent Flight Batteries when used with the supported Air-Cooled Heat Sink and charging setup under specified conditions.
The T50 also supports the D12000iE Multifunctional Inverter Generator and C10000 Intelligent Charger.
Can the DJI AGRAS T50 work with the DJI Mavic 3M?
Yes. Farmers can use the Mavic 3M to collect multispectral field data, identify crop stress, and generate prescription maps. Those maps can then support Variable Rate Application with the AGRAS T50 for spraying and spreading workflows.
